Where your order ends up, and the street animals it helps put back on their feet.

Charlie's Animal Rescue Foundation runs out of a compound on the outskirts of Bangalore. On a weekday morning, it feels like organised chaos โ€” four volunteers managing medical intake for two dogs brought in overnight, a staff member coordinating a foster placement, and somewhere in the back, a litter of puppies that arrived three days ago from a construction site clearance. This is normal.

CARE was founded by Charlie's original adopter, who started taking in strays informally and eventually couldn't stop. What began as one person's personal rescue operation is now a registered foundation with a permanent facility, a veterinary partnership, and an adoption programme that has rehomed over 1,400 animals since 2019. Most of them came off the street in Bangalore. Many were hit by vehicles. A disproportionate number were pregnant.

The financial model is lean by necessity. CARE doesn't run campaigns or set targets. The work costs what it costs โ€” medical treatment, food, boarding, the occasional surgery โ€” and the team covers it however they can. When Snoutlet was designed, the decision to send 100% of proceeds to CARE wasn't a marketing choice. It was because the founders had seen the intake room on a Friday night and decided the gap between what CARE needed and what it had was the most useful gap to fill.

A tee from Snoutlet doesn't fund a revolution. It funds a deworming treatment, or a week of post-operative boarding, or the bag of kibble that gets a recovering dog to adoption weight. The maths is simple. The impact is specific. If you want to know exactly what your order did, you can ask โ€” we keep records, and CARE publishes them.
